Retail observations from September 2025

Our September 2025 roundup focused on front-of-store presentation, charity-linked campaigns and the physical details of POS. Looking back at those examples is a useful way to consider how a display introduces a product before the shopper reaches the main fixture.

A larger stage for the product

We contributed animation to a Ben’s Original activation featuring an oversized pack at the front of store. The animation added another way to introduce the ready-to-heat range. When a display includes both a structure and a screen, the creative needs to work as a whole, with a clear message in each viewing moment.

Make a sensory idea relevant

Another example in the roundup was a Lynx Cherry Spritz installation with an atomiser. It prompted a useful question about experiential POS: does the interaction help people understand something about the product? The strongest creative rationale begins with that connection.

Explain the purpose of a promotion

Charity partnerships also featured in the review. Clear communication matters when a purchase is connected with a cause. Shoppers need to understand the relationship and what taking part involves. Our Aunt Bessie’s case study provides an example of Juice’s creative work in this area.

Pay attention to the finish

Materials, assembly and finishing can affect how a concept appears in store. Include those details in the creative discussion and make time to review the production approach. The result should remain recognisable as the approved idea when it reaches its actual setting.
