We adapted Pride campaign artwork for a SKITTLES mural in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, turning a detailed illustration into a clear large-scale composition.
The brief
Preserve the inclusive message and character of the original artwork while making it suitable for two large walls.
The creative
We selected and redrew characters from Andy Baker Studio’s original illustration, using the rainbow palette to connect them. SKITTLES sweets brought the brand into the composition.
The collaboration
Once approved, the design was handed to Mural Republic for execution ahead of Manchester Pride. The project combined Juice’s artwork adaptation with the specialist team’s large-scale mural work. Original illustration: Andy Baker Studio. Mural execution and photography: Mural Republic.
